Merlin elite Pro User Manual

OCR Mode

To switch to OCR mode, press the center button on the front panel. Place your

document in the frame that is displayed, which is the area that will be read.

In Basic mode, reading (text to speech or TTS) begins immediately after a scan is

completed. In Advanced mode, you control where reading starts by selecting a zone, so

reading does not start automatically.

Note:

After five minutes of inactivity in OCR mode, your device reverts to live CCTV

mode.
