The Radio/File Progress Bar appears to indicate the
loading progress. The button label changes to
Loading.
See Figure 5-10.
The loading of settings from the RX is complete when
the Progress Bar disappears and the button changes
back to
Load Settings From Radio
.
Note that you will not be able to change the hardware
selected, since it now represents the actual hardware
installed.

8. Select each Tab and make your choices for
settings on that Page.
See Figure 5-10 for an example of a configuration
containing both an RXU and an RCU.
See Appendix C for details of the choices on each
page.
Note You may notice that some of the choices on the
Pages are greyed out and not operating. This is
typically because the
Operation Mode setting for
that Preset (on the Radio Page ) is set to a mode
that does not use this choice.

9. When your configuration is complete, save it to a
file.
See ”Saving the Configuration to a File” on page 5-8.
5.3.4 Saving the Configuration to a File
Regardless of how you created your new configuration (offline,
from file, or from an RX), it is always good practice to save the
configuration file to your PC. To save a file, follow the steps
below.
1. Have the desired configuration displayed on-
screen.
2. Click on Save Settings to File.
The Windows file screen appears. See Figure 5-11.
3. Navigate to the directory where the file will be
saved.
This can be on your PC’s C: drive, or on any drive you
choose. The default directory is “My Documents”.
4. Type the file name in the File Name box.
