C.4.4 COFDM Page
The COFDM Page is show in Figure C-11. This is the page that
displays when you click on the
COFDM
tab.
You will use this Page to define the COFDM Bandwidth (BW) for
each of the 9 available Presets. Choices are:
• 6 MHz
• 7 MHz
• 8 MHz
The Bandwidth setting of the RX
must
match the bandwidth of
the signal being received. If the setting is incorrect, no video will
appear on the RX output.
The RX will not automatically
change its BW setting to match the incoming signal.

C.4.5 MPEG Page
The MPEG Page is show in Figure C-12. This is the page that
displays when you click on the
MPEG
tab.
You will use this Page to define MPEG decoder and encryption
settings for each of the 9 available Presets.
Note that the Preset being configured must be selected by
clicking one of the Preset buttons.
For each Preset you can:
• Select whether the MPEG decoder uses the
Gen Lock
input. Choices are:
- Selected (checked).
The MPEG decoder uses the Gen Lock input to
synchronize video and audio with the Gen Lock
source. This external signal should be 400 mV p-p
nominal.
If selected and the external signal is not present, the
decoder automatically generates its own internal
synchronization signal.
- Not selected (unchecked).
The MPEG decoder does not use the Gen Lock input.
The decoder generates its own internal
synchronization signal.
• Select whether the decoder adds an
NTSC Pedestal
to
the incoming signal. Choices are:
- Selected (checked).
The RX adds an NTSC pedestal to the signal.
- Not selected (unchecked).
