Withdrawal tap
Withdrawal tap
Before installing the withdrawal tap, determine its installation point.
•
The withdrawal tap should be in an easy-to-use place. Please pay attention to the rotation of
the waterspout.
•
Measure the thickness of the tabletop (40 mm max.).
•
Consider the installation and connection options under the countertop
.
For the bore required in the countertop, please use drill sizes 3 mm, 7 mm and 12 mm. Start with the smal-
lest diameter and low drill RPM and increase the speed slowly.
Use a round file to clean the bore and remove any burr residues.
Please observe the relevant drilling instruc-
tions for countertops made of other materials than wood.
Please use the illustration below as a reference for the installation of the withdrawal tap and proceed as
follows:
•
Insert the supplied parts in the correct order on the threaded tube.
•
Correctly align the withdrawal tap.
•
Install the withdrawal tap by tightening the wing nut.
Both the connection to the withdrawal tap and the VA-Basic PLUS is under full water pressu-
re and should be installed with particular care. Check that both connections with the with-
drawal tap opened are leak-proof.
