Dear customer,
You have just purchased a KINECARE product. In order to use it optimally and efficiently, we
recommend that you read these operating instructions carefully.
1. COMPOSITION
Iron, water, activated carbon, salt.
2. SAFETY NOTES
Only use this device for its intended purpose as described in this notice.
2. 1. WARNINGS
- This product is for single use only.
- This product is intended for external use only.
- Do not use after the stated expiry date.
- Do not put in direct contact with skin without the use of knee/elbow pads. Risk of burns.
- This device is suitable for home use.
- Keep this product in its original packaging in a clean, dry place. Store the product at room
temperature 4-30 °C (40-86 °F). Do not freeze it.
- Each heating cell contains iron (about 2 g). Do not put in the mouth. If swallowed, immediately
contact a doctor.
- Do not get in eyes. In case of contact with eyes, immediately flush with clean water and contact
your doctor.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- The use of this device is not intended for persons (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or lack of knowledge, unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been instructed on the use of the
device.
- Do not use on persons who cannot remove the patches themselves, without external
assistance, or are unable to follow precautions for use, including children and the elderly.
- Never heat or re-heat the product in a microwave oven - risk of fire.
- Do not use on children under the age of 12.
- This product should not encourage self-medication or the adaptation of your treatment.
Do not use the product if the protective pouch or patch is damaged (leakage, deterioration,
tearing).
- Do not use if the protective film is damaged or missing.
2.2. PRECAUTIONS
- Do not apply more than 8 hours per day on the same area.
- Do not use if bruising or swelling of less than 48 hours.
- Do not use on parts of the body that are insensitive to heat.
- Do not put in direct contact with the skin without the use of a belt / knee pad. Risk of burns.
Do not use on injured skin.
- Do not sleep with the product.
- Consult your physician before use: In case of diabetes, circulatory disorders, cardiovascular
diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, skin disorders, pregnancy, skin insensitivity (Raynaud's
syndrome). If you have any doubts about the use of this heating patch, ask your doctor for
advice.
- If you are 55 or older, the risk of burns is increased, so it is recommended that you wear the
Kinecare patch over a garment and not use it when sleeping.
- Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to a similar patch.
- This product may cause blisters or skin burns. If the product appears too hot, stop using it or
wear the patch over a garment. Check your skin frequently. Immediately remove the patch in
case of discomfort, irritation or burning.
- Consult a physician if you experience discomfort, burning, swelling, rash, or other persistent
changes in your skin where the patch has been placed.
- Ask a doctor if the pain worsens or persists for more than 7 days.
- Do not use on face, head, chest, inner arm, elbow creases, armpits, fingers, groin, knee pits or feet.
- To avoid increasing the risk of burns, remove the product before undergoing any MRI
(magnetic resonance imaging) examination.
- Do not use with local analgesic products (such as creams, balms, lotions, liniments, etc.).
- Do not use in combination with other medicines for local use or other sources of heat.
- Do not apply additional pressure, do not lean against hard surfaces, do not wear bandage or
tight clothing or a belt over the patch.
