Chapter 4. Configure Tape Drives

The Configure Tape Drives menu should appear similar to the one below. Because of the 
flexibility allowed by the VI-5990, the configuration is a little more complex and 
methodical. To correctly configure the tape drives for usage, you should proceed to 
configure the panels in the order listed in the menu. Also make sure that you have already 
configured the Tape Pools that are to be used. 
 

 

 
 

Configuring LPARs 

 
Select the [LPAR’s] button on the Configure Tape Drives menu. Doing so should result
