Step 5:

Place vertical strips on dowels.

Step 6:

Place horizontal strips over vertical strips.

Step 7:

Place nails in all four corners; tap lightly

with hammer. (Do not drive nails around perimeter of

rack.) This holds strips in place and holes aligned.

Starting at the center of rack, place remainder of

nails in holes; tap lightly with hammer. After all nails

are in place, start at center of rack and drive in the

nails completely. (The reason for starting at the

center is that it is easier to remove and replace.)

Note:

To assemble rack, work on a level, solid surface such as

3/4” pressed board. There may be extra pieces (dowels and

nails) left after rack has been assembled.
