No audio playback
on one channel
The source equipment is giving signal on only
one channel.
One of the signal cables between audio sour-
ce and preamplifier inputs has not yet been
plugged in or is defective.
The channel balance of the preamplifier has
been set to the extreme right or left.
One of the signal cables between preampli-
fier and main amplifier has not yet been
plugged in or is defective.
One of the speaker cables is not correctly
connected or is defective.
One of the loudspeakers is defective.
Check the audio source. You can try to use it
at a different amplifier for a test.
Check the cable connections of the preampli-
fier, tighten them if necessary.
Set the preamplifier channel balance to a
reasonable value.
Check these cable connections, tighten them
if necessary.
Check and refasten the speaker cables at the
speaker terminal of the main amplifier and at
the speaker’s connectors.
Have your loudspeakers checked.
Humming low
