8. POWER
This is the main power switch for turning on and
off the device. When switched off, the device is
not disconnected from the mains and reacts to a
signal at one of the connectors “POWER CON-
TROL” (18).
9. Display
The display shows track number, elapsed playing
time and other information.
10. OPEN/CLOSE
Button for opening and closing the CD tray.
11. RANDOM
Activate and deactivate random order playback
of the CD tracks with this key.
12. PLAY/PAUSE
Button for starting or interrupting the playback of
the CD.
13. BACK
Button for going back one track.
14. STOP
Stops the current playback of a CD or switches
from pause to the player’s initial state.
15. NEXT
Button for going forward one track.
1. SR: Infrared remote control receiver
2. PHONES: headphone socket
You can use this 6.3mm jack socket to plug in a
headphone with an impedance of at least 32
Ω
.
Its volume can be adjusted using “LEVEL” (4).
3. WARM UP indicator LED
This LED is blinking for several seconds after
power-up while the tubes of the internal small
signal amplifier are being warmed up.
4. LEVEL: volume knob
Use this knob to change the volume of the atta-
ched headphone (2).
5. REMAIN
This key allows the remaining playing time of the
current track or the remaining playing time of the
CD to be displayed.
6. A-B
With this key you can start a repeated playback
of a selected section within a track.
7. Disc tray
This drawer can be opened or closed to insert
CDs with the key “OPEN/CLOSE” (10)(30).
