11 - Remote control programming
11.0 All storing and erasing remote control operations must be carried out with the door not moving and the motor not
receiving any power (flashing light off)
11.1 Saving a button on the remote control as an step-step button
Press and hold down
P2
until DL7 starts to flash
slowly
with a
GREEN light (2 sec.)
Within 20 sec. press the button on the remote control to be saved as the step-step button
LED DL7 remains on, fixed for 1 sec. and then goes out to confirm the saved button
11.2 Saving a button on the remote control as a second radio channel activation button
Press and hold down
P2
until DL7 starts to flash
quickly
with a
GREEN light (4 sec.)
- Within 20 sec. press the button on the remote control to be saved as the second channel activation button
LED DL7 remains on, fixed for 1 sec. and then goes out to confirm the saved button
11.3 Deleting a single button on the remote control
- Press and hold down
P1
until DL1 starts flashing very
quickly
with a
GREEN
light (
6 sec.
)
Within 20 sec. press the remote control button to delete
LED DL1 remains on, fixed for 1 sec. and then goes out to confirm the deletion
11.4 Total deletion of the receiver memory
- Disconnect the power supply to the control unit
- Press and hold down
P2
- Switch the power to the control unit back on, LED DL7 starts to flash very quickly with a GREEN light
- Continue to hold down P2, wait for approx. 6 seconds until LED DL7 comes on and stays on with a GREEN light
- Release button P2. All the remote controls are now deleted
- LED DL7 will turn off to confirm successful deletion
Note:
to exit the remote control programming without waiting for 20 sec. press P2 while the LED DL7 is flashing
Note:
the choice of receiver operation in Rolling Code or fixed code mode can only be done when the receiver is empty:
- if the first saved remote control is a Rolling Code remote control, the receiver will only work with Rolling Code remote controls
- if the first saved remote control is a fixed code remote control, the receiver will only work with fixed code remote controls
- to change the operating mode of the receiver from Rolling Code to fixed code and vice versa, first delete all the receiver mem-
ory
Note:
if saving the same remote control button first as a step-step button and then for a second radio channel, the second save is
ignored by the receiver and the button will work only as a step-step.
