General functional description

The Pr enables non-contact manual and also fully automatic flushing via the IR sensor
button, or alternatively manual, mechanical flushing via the WC button.

1 Sensor field

The sensor is located in the centre behind the strip of sensor window above the manual flush
button.
To initiate a manual flush, hold your hand in front of or on the sensor window (hand detection
zone), then remove it. Flushing will only take place when you remove your hand. Manual flushing
always triggers a full-flush. If you only remove your hand from the hand detection zone after 4 s (or
longer), no flush will take place (timeout).
When AUTO Flush mode is enabled (Single or Dual mode), the sensor system also flushes
independently as soon as the user has left the sensor detection zone. Flushing can also be initiated
using a compatible radio transmitter, via the optional radio receiver for the Pr, see

Chapter 4.1, "Component overview"
