Step 6
Tighten all straps and check again to ensure handling is not affected in any way. Failure to do so can limit the
maneuverability and can be dangerous while riding.
Step 7
Cut or stow all excess straps since they can get caught up in mechanical parts during riding.
Note

Regularly check the bag to ensure it is mounted firmly.
•
If straps are used, regularly ensure that the bag is securely being held in place under tension.
•
Do not use if straps or the tank bag cause any obstruction while riding.
•
If you are unclear about the installation process, do not install the bag.
•
Viking bags will not be responsible for any damage caused by improper installation of the product.
Warnings
Avoid usage of any mounting part that is impaired or is not working properly.
Sporadically check for shifting of the bag and verify that no part of the mounting system is interfering with any part of the
motorcycle while riding. This includes the drive train, suspension, brakes or wheels.
It is important to note that if you do not mount these saddlebags properly damage may be caused to the saddlebags and/or
motorcycle.
If bags are securely installed, no part of the mounting system or bags should touch the motorcycle while in operation.
