Introduction
The WAVE is a DSP based Audio delay that was specifically designed for the demands in
modern home theater setups. The sophistacted videoprocessing in todays digital displays and
processors can generate a significant delay between the video and audio information resulting
in severe lip sync issues. The WAVE can compensate this delay and resynchronize audio and
video information.

Adjustments
2.1 Delay
The WAVE offers 9 steps of delay adjustments.
The increments are in steps of 20ms up to 180 ms.
Removing an internal jumper changes increments from 20 ms to 40ms resulting in
a 340 ms maximum delay setting in steps of 8.
If the unit is controlled via RS-232 the 17 delay settings of the unit
may accessed directly in steps of 20 ms.
2.2 Inputs and automatic input selection
Inputs 1-7 may be selected manually using the front panel push button.
For automatic input selection please select 9. For proper operation of the automatic
input selection it is required that there is only one active source at a time and all other
connected audio sources are turned of.
The unit scans the inputs for active sources, so any time a new active source is present the
WAVE will switch to the according input.

Display
The WAVE has 2 LEDs status indicators. The red LED indicates that a valid digital audio signal
has been recognized. If this LED does not lit, you either have choosed an open input, or the
input signal is not recognized.
The green LED indicates that the unit is powered. If that is not lit, please check the power
connection and mains adapter.
