IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICES
When using electrical equipment, you should always follow the following steps:

The device may be used by children from 8 years of age and older and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience if supervised or instructed to use this device and they
understand any risks. Children must not play with the device. Only children older than 8 years and under
supervision may carry out cleaning or maintenance.
• Children under the age of eight should be out of reach of the device and its power cord.
• Before connecting to the power outlet, make sure that the voltage indicated on the label on the power
supply is the same as that in your power supply. If not, do not use the appliance and return it to your dealer.
• Ensure that the lid is closed during use. Do not open it when water is boiling. Risk of scalding.
• Use only with the power base.
• If you remove the kettle from the base, it must be turned off.
• Pay attention to the steam coming out of the nozzle or lid.
• The kettle has a safety fuse against possible switching on without water or when the water does not reach
the minimum. See “Tips” for more information.
• The kettle must not be used without a lid.
• When the kettle is in operation, do not leave it unattended.
• The kettle is very hot during and after boiling. Do not touch the hot spots, only handle the handle with the kettle.
• Do not fill the kettle or drain it when it is in the base. Disconnect it even before cleaning.
• When the kettle is not in use, unplug it from the socket.
• If the kettle or the power cord or is damaged or malfunctioned, do not use it and contact a specialist service.
• Only a qualified service technician can repair the kettle and power cord.
• The device and the power cord must not come into contact with the hot surface.
• The kettle must stand on a firm, level and dry surface.
• The kettle is intended for indoor use only, not for outdoor use.
• This appliance is intended only for water heating, do not boil anything else.
• Do not handle the power cord with wet hands. Do not pull on the wire, hold it by the plug when disconnecting it.
• Only use the appliance where there is no risk of overturning, and is away from sources of heat, flammable
objects and damp surfaces.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water. The connector on the base must not come into contact with water.
• Always make sure the device is turned off when you remove it from the power supply or disconnect it from
the socket when you are going to clean it or not to use it for a long time.
• Keep the kettle and power cord away from children and pets. When the device is used near children, it is
necessary to have supervision over them.
• This appliance is intended for normal households only. It must not be used in any way other than what is
intended.
• Do not let the power cord hang down from the work surface to touch hot surfaces or become tangled.
• Do not fill the kettle over the MAX mark. Boiling water may spill out if the kettle is overfilled and cause injury.
• The device does not contain any parts that can be maintained by the user themself.
• To avoid steam damage, turn the nozzle away from the walls, use the kettle only in places where there is no
risk of overturning and away from heat sources (eg fireplaces, stoves, ovens, cookers, grills), from flammable
objects (eg tablecloths, curtains, cloth blinds, etc.) from damp surfaces (eg bathtubs, sinks, etc.).
• The kettle is only for short-time boiling. Do not store fluids there. Do not leave water in the kettle for more
than 4 hours after use. Never immerse the kettle and stand in water. Make sure the water never gets into the
central junction connector on the kettle and the base.
