In order to swap batteries without loosing your stored content, follow this procedure. If you do not
have access to an AC Power source and/or if you do not currently have the AC Power Adapter,
do the following:
IMPORTANT! The replacement battery should be fully charged
.
1. Attach the AC Power Adapter to
protect changed files from
power outage.
2. Slide the Battery Latch upward
into the unlocked position.
3. Slide out the old battery.
4. Slide in the replacement battery.
5. Slide the Battery Latch into the
locked position.
1. Press the Power button to put the unit in
Suspend Mode (not shown in
illustration).
2. Slide the Battery Latch upward into the
unlock position.
3. Slide out the old battery.
4. Slide in the fully charged replacement
battery.
5. Slide the Battery Latch into the locked
position.
IMPORTANT!
If the replacement battery is not fully
charged, be sure to keep the power cable connected until
the Power LED is Solid Green. If the unit is in Off Mode,
this will take three (3) to four (4) hours, and will take five
(5) house if the unit is in On Mode and is being used.
