IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
USE AND CARE
•
Do not modify the Spotlight
in any way.
Unauthorized modification may impair the function
and/or safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific applications for which
the Spotlight was designed.
•
Always check of damaged or worn out parts before using the Spotlight.
Broken parts will
affect the Spotlight operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
•
Store idle Spotlight.
When Spotlight is not in use, store it in a secure place out of the reach of
children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
OPERATION
•
Push the handle button and turn the handle to upper or lower position. Upper pistol profile is
designed for pinpointing long range objects, lower lantern profile for searching around.
•
Charge the battery prior to initial use (see RECHARGING THE BATTERY)
•
Turn the lantern ON and OFF by the switch on the main body. ON ----+ standard brightness
----+ high brightness ----+ OFF.
RECHARGING THE BATTERY
•
Before recharging the battery, turn the function switch to off position.
•
Before using the spotlight for the first time, charge the battery for 12 continuous hours using
the AC or DC battery charger.
•
For AC, plug the charger unit into any electrical outlet, and plug the other end of cord
adapter to the DC jack of the spotlight. The Red LED lights on to indicate the charger is
working, When the battery is fully charged, green LED will illuminate, the time required to
fully charge the battery is around 12 hours.
•
For DC, plug the car plug charger unit into the cigarette lighter socket on your car, and plug
the other end of cord adapter to the DC jack of the handle of spotlight. The Red LED lights
on to indicate the charger is working, When the battery is fully charged, green LED will
illuminate, the time required to fully charge the battery is around 12 hours.
•
It is important to recharge the spotlight as soon as possible after each usage.
•
Do not completely discharge battery before recharging. Deep discharge will decrease
battery life.
•
To ensure the battery will not be fully exhausted when the lantern is not in use or in storage,
recharge the battery every 3 months.
MAINTENANCE
•
Maintain your Spotlight.
It is recommended that the general condition of any Spotlight be
examined before it is used. Keep your Spotlight in good repair by adopting a program of
conscientious repair and maintenance. Have necessary repairs made by qualified service
personnel.
•
Use only mild soap and damp cloth to clean the Spotlight.
Never let any liquid get
inside the
Spotlight; never immerse any part of the spotlight into a liquid.
