Audio setup
You don’t need to do anything
in speaker setup when you
are using the digital audio
output(coaxial). This is for users
who are using the player’s built-
in 5.1 channel output function.
If you only need 2 channels to
enjoy music, it is recommended
that you select the “Stereo”
option. When you use this
player’s built-in Dolby Digital
decoder to play 5.1 channel
sound, please select “off”.
This is for choosing the digital
audio format from coaxial/optical
output. If you are using an
amplifier with built-in Dolby/DTS
decoder, please choose “SPDIF/
RAW”. Optional settings: SPDIF
OFF, SPDIF/RAW, SPDIF/PCM.
Select SPDIF OFF to turn off
SPDIF output, select SPDIF/
PCM for simulation surround
output, Select SPDIF/RAW
for digital sound code out put,
Select SPDIF/RAW for optical
output.
Dolby digital setup
Optional settings: Stereo,
L-mono, R-mono, Mix-mono.
Sets the linear compression
ratio to get different compression
results. Optional settings: Off,
1/4, 1/2, 3/4, Full.
Choose stereo in dolby digital
setup as stereo signal, choose-
L-mono for left channel signal,
choose R-mono for right channel
signal.
Choose Mix-mono for mix
signal.
Video setup
Component
Sets the component output
mode, YUV for normal
component connection. OFF for
composite video and S-Video
connection.
TV Mode
Switch from progressive
Scan and normal interlace scan.
Optional Settings:P-SCAN,
INTERLACE.
Sharpness
Adjusts the video sharpness
quality.
Brightness
Adjusts the video brightness
quality.
Contrast
Adjusts the video contrast quality.
