2. Einleitung
Die Rauchgeneratoren garantieren star-
ke Rauchentwicklung und eignen sich
für die „brennenden“ Häuser von Vollmer
(Art. 43728, 47738 oder 49538), Kamine,
Fabrikschornsteine, Raffinerie- und Indus-
trieanlagen.
Am Fußboden des Dachgeschosses der
„brennenden“ Häuser ist eine kreisrunde
Aussparung zum Versenken des Rauch-
generators vorgesehen.
Weitere passende Modelle aus dem Voll-
mer-Sortiment sind z. B. Art. 45609.
3. Anschluss
Befüllen Sie den Rauchgenerator max.
bis zur Hälfte mit Rauch- und Dampfdes-
tillat von Viessmann oder Seuthe.
Schließen Sie ihn an einen geeigneten Mo-
dellbahntransformator (z. B. Viessmann
Art. 5200) an (Abb. 1).
Mittels der Betriebsspannung des Transfor-
mators können Sie die Rauchentwicklung
steuern. Um eine optimale Rauchentwick-
lung zu erreichen, sorgen Sie für eine aus-
reichende Luftzufuhr.
Vorsicht:
Um Schaden zu vermeiden sowie eine
lange Betriebsdauer zu erreichen, ist Fol-
gendes zu beachten:
- Bei leerem Tank, Rauchgenerator ab-
schalten.
- Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Vollmer,
Viessmann oder Seuthe Dampf- und
Rauchdestillat.

The Vollmer smoke generator is capable
of producing a considerable amount of
smoke and is suitable with the „Houses on
fire“ (e. g. item 43728, 47738 or 49538),
smoke stacks, refineres and other indus

trial plants.
The circular cut out in the floor of the roof
of these models is intended for the inserti-
on of the smoke generator.
Another suitable model from Vollmer is
item 45609.
3. Connection
Fill the tank up to max. half of its capaci
-
ty with Viessmann or Seuthe steam- and
smoke distillate.
Connect it to a suitable model train trans-
former (e. g. Viessmann item 5200). See
fig. 1.
Using the operation voltage of the trans-
former you can control the smoke devel-
opment. A denser smoke will be produced
supporting the rising smoke by a slight
draught.
Caution:
To avoid damages and to ensure correct
operation in the long run, pay attention
to the following:
- Switch off the steam generator if the
tank is empty.
- Only use Vollmer, Viessmann or Seuthe
steam- and smoke distillate.
