Grate Drive Mechanics Jams
Grate drive mechanics are no longer running causing cinders to accumulate on the grate.
Grate drive
mechanics jammed
Check electrical
triggering system
Check shear-off pin
Clean the connecting
rod and bronze bearing
Check grate
Check grate factory settings
Set the system to “Cleaning”, this
causes the grate drive motor to run
continuously.
Check that the shear-off pin on the
connecting rod is OK.
Check that a spare shear-off pin is
present.
Cleaning of the connecting rod and
of the bronze bearing by means of
grease
removers.
Check grate for foreign material.
Are all grate components properly inserted?
Lateral play - sliding grate for the concrete;
