General information
Only the connections to be made are
shown in the following connection dia-
grams. Pre-allocated connections made
at the factory are explained in the
tables.
■ The total output of all components con-
nected directly to the heat pump con-
trol unit (e.g. pumps, valves, message
facilities, contactors) must not exceed
1000 W (for all PCBs together).
If the total output
≤
1000 W, the indi-
vidual rating of a component (e.g.
pump, valve, message facility, contac-
tor) can be greater than specified.
■ Route 230 V cables and LV cable sep-
arately and bundle tightly near their
terminals. This ensures that, in case of
failure, for example when detaching a
wire, the wires cannot drift into the
adjacent voltage area.
■ Strip the insulation as close to the ter-
minals as possible.
■ In the delivered condition, terminals
may have been pre-allocated (subject
to appliance version).
If two components are connected to
the same terminal, press both cores
together into a
single
wire ferrule.
PCB information
For PCB overview, see from page 75.
The terminal markings on the PCBs (e.g.
X1.2) are preceded by the numbers 1 to
3 (e.g. 3X1.2). These numbers are allo-
cated to the three PCBs:
3X1.2:
PCB 3, terminal strip X1, termi-
nal 2
1X1.
?
:
PCB 1, terminal strip X1, any
earth terminal
1X2.N:
PCB 1, terminal strip X2, any
neutral conductor terminal
■ Neutral conductor and earth conduc-
tor:
The neutral and earth conductors of all
components are connected to terminal
strips X1 and X2 of PCB 1 (cross con-
nect PCB).
■ Sensors:
Nothing
may be connected on site to
the following terminals of PCB 3 (sen-
sor PCB) (pre-allocated internally):
F1, F5, F10, F11, F15, F19, F22.
Other pre-allocated terminals subject
to appliance version: F2, F3, F9, F17,
F18, F21, F23.
Terminal F8 for type AWH-I is pre-allo-
cated. For type AWH-O, the flow tem-
perature sensor in the secondary cir-
cuit must be connected to F8 on site.
