Clearance, house wall – founda-
tions:
■ Max. clearance subject to the
length of the connecting cables
and hydraulic connection lines,
max. 23 m
■ Observe the min. clearance for
installation.

Heating water connection (hydraulic
connection lines
C
)
Use the hydraulic connection set (acces-
sory), pre-assembled in different
lengths. The connection set comprises
one flexible flow line and one flexible
return line encased in common thermal
insulation, and 2 adaptors.
■ Flow/return line: PE 32 x 2.9 mm
■ Adaptor fittings: DN 32 to R 1¼
■ Route the pipes into the building via a
suitable pipe liner with wall seal
flanges
H
(on site).
■ Provide a fill & drain facility
J
for
heating water flow and return in the
building, that is near the external wall
and 0.8 m below ground level.
Note
In buildings at ground level, provide a
suitable thermally insulated duct or
enable draining of the heat pump with
compressed air.
Frost protection
The frost protection function of the heat
pump control unit is enabled provided
the heat pump control unit and heating
circuit pump are ready for operation. If
the heat pump is taken out of use or there
is a prolonged power failure, drain the
system via drain & fill valve
J
.
In heat pump systems where a power
failure would not be detected (holiday
home), the heating circuits can be oper-
ated with suitable antifreeze. For this,
ensure that the system components
used are compatible with the anti-
freeze.
