Checking the refrigerant circuit for leaks
1.
Check the floor area, valves and all
visible solder joints for traces of oil.
Note
Traces of oil indicate a leaking refrig-
erant circuit. Have your heat pump
checked over by a refrigeration engi-
neer.
2.
Check the heat pump interior with a
refrigerant leak detector or leak
detecting spray for refrigerant leaks.
Charging and venting on the primary side
!
Please note
To prevent appliance damage,
charge the primary circuit before
connecting the power supply.
1.
Check the Victaulic connections in
the heat pump for tightness. The Vic-
taulic couplings must be tight and fit-
ted together so that there are no
gaps.
2.
Check the pre-charge pressure of the
expansion vessel.
3.
Charge the primary circuit with
Viessmann heat transfer medium
and vent.
Note
The system must be protected
against frost down to –15 °C.
!
Please note
To prevent equipment dam-
age, check the flow and return
connections of the heat pump
primary circuit for tightness.
In the case of leaks, switch off
the heat pump
immediately
,
drain the primary circuit and
check the seating of seals/
gaskets. Replace faulty or dis-
placed gaskets.
