Pipe interrupter
Safeguard drinking water from contamination
To prevent contamination of drinking water caused by bath water flowing back into
the drinking water system, a pipe interrupter must be installed between the concealed
shut-off fitting and the bathtub inlet. Local standards and regulations must be
observed.
Note:
The pipe interrupter is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered
separately!
Backflow situation
In the case of a vacuum,
there is the possibility
that water from the
bathtub may flow back
into the drinking water
system.
