or maintenance.

1. Keep the power tool ventilation slots clean and free from obstructions. If available, blow  compressed
air  into  the  vents  to  clear  any  internal  dust  (safety  goggles  must  be  worn  when  undertaking  this

remove the brush holder caps (See Fig 5). Take out the carbon brushes. If it  becomes worn to or near
“wear limit” (See Fig 6), replacing the new ones, reinstall the holder cap firmly.

Note:

Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the same time. Use only  identical  carbon brushes.

Keep the carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its  service  agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. If your power tool will not operate, check the power at the mains plug, or check the carbon brushes.
2. If a fault can’t be rectified, return the power tool to an authorized dealer for repair.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle
where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
