through practical testing.

7. Polishing and sanding operations

Hold  your  power  tool  with  one  hand  on  the  rear  handle  and  other  hand  firmly  around  the  auxiliary
handle. Turn  the power  tool  on  and  then  apply  the  polishing  bonnet to  the  workpiece (See  Fig  8).
Always maintain an angle between the polishing bonnet and work surface of approximately 15

) or maintain an angle between the sanding disc and work surface of approximately

when sanding. Apply slight pressure only. Excessive pressure will result in poor performance and

premature wear to polishing bonnet.

Warning: Never use tools with the Max specified rotational/circumferential speed on the

label of the tools smaller than the values given in the nameplate of power tool.

WORKING HINTS FOR YOUR POWER TOOL

1. Use  caution  when  working  into  corners  as  contact  with  the  intersecting  surface  may  cause  the
power tool to jump or twist.
2. At all times, let the power tool do the work, do not force it or apply excessive pressure to the tools.
3. For the polishing of weathered paint or buffing out scratches (e.g., acrylic glass), the power tool may
be fitted with appropriate polishing accessories such as lamb’s wool bonnet, polishing felt or sponge
(optional  accessories). Select  a  low  speed  for  polishing  in  order  to  avoid  excessive  heating  of the
surface.
4. Do  not  allow  the  polishing  agent  to  dry  out  on  the  surface. Otherwise  the  surface  can  become
damaged. Do not subject the surface to be polished to direct sunlight.
5. When sanding guide the sanding disc with crosswise strokes. Do not use a circular motion, as this
makes swirl marks. Test before use on scrap stock.
6. For sanding applications on soft materials, e. g., gypsum or paint, it is recommended to use the
rubber sanding plate with sanding sheet. Cup brushes and wheel brushes are suitable for rust removal.

air  into  the  vents  to  clear  any  internal  dust  (safety  goggles  must  be  worn  when  undertaking  this
process).
2. Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
3.Clean  the  polishing  accessories  regularly  to  ensure  good  polishing  results. Wash  out  polishing
