Workplace
You operate the FMM from the tractor driver's seat. Furthermore, you need a minimum distance
of 1 m around the mower for adjustments and repair.
Emergency stop procedure

Refer to your tractor manual for PTO instructions and Hydraulic system instructions. Read and
understand how to quickly stop the tractor and mower movement in an emergency.
5.5
Preparing for Commissioning, Assembling
You must set up your Heavy-duty Flail mower/mulcher before installation. Please follow the
steps on the following pages for a smooth 30-minute setup/assembly.
N O T I CE :
•
Before shipping the Flail mower/mulcher to you, the following service is
done in the warehouse:
Bearings are greased, flails are installed, adjusted, and the bolts are
torqued according to specifications.
•
A PTO shaft is part of the delivery. Ensure that grease nipples are
screwed in tightly. Occasionally, dried paint may cover the end of the
nipples on the PTO shaft. Remove this by scraping the paint off with a
knife before injecting grease into these nipples.

Important Assembly Instructions:
Fill the gearbox with oil

Remove the breather nipple (1) and
fill the gearbox with oil.
The gearbox must be filled 2/3.
Check the oil level using a dipstick.
Use Oil
SAE-80/95
; (Total 1½
Quarts).
◼
Fit and tighten the breather nipple.
