Spraying
1.
When carrying out tasks such as spraying maintain a slow speed and seek a path that
provides the best visibility of any potential obstruction or hazard.
2.
Be aware that liquid loads can cause sudden shifts to the centre of gravity of the bike when
riding over uneven terrain.
3.
Assess the terrain before riding over it.
4.
Check the area ahead for hazards such as rocks, tree stumps, burrows or branches.
5.
Ensure spray trailer is empty and minimum distance to quad to reduce exertion required
when hitching trailer.
Loads and towing
1.
Do not exceed the manufacturer’s load limitations and specifications.
2.
Only carry loads on the front and/or rear racks of the quad bike or on compliant
attachments.

Ensure loads, equipment and tools are stable and secured.

Keep loads low.

Avoid hills and rough terrain.
Refuelling
1.
Allow quad bike to cool down before refuelling.
