and understand all of the information contained in this document prior to use.
2.
CAUTION:
This machine is NOT suitable for picking up hazardous dust or flammable materials.
3.
WARNING
: The weight of this machine makes it un-suitable for a single person lift. For lifting instruction, please
refer to relevant H.S.E. Directives.
4.
Always ensure battery charger cable has been disconnected from the mains supply and the key
removed before carrying out any cleaning, routine maintenance or pad changing.
BURNISHER
A) Always ensure that charger cable is disconnected from mains supply prior to operation
B) Never use dirty pads or allow pads to become oversoiled before changing. This machine has been designed for
use with pads supplied by the manufacturer. The fitting of other pads may affect its safety
C) The VICTOR Rotary Floor machines maximum A-Weighted sound pressure level Lpa measured in dB(A) is
less than 85dB(A).
D) The maximum r.m.s. Acceleration value of a VICTOR Rotary Floor machine = 1.5m/s²
ON BOARD CHARGER
E)
Check the battery charger cable and plug for damage before use, and if necessary, replace with a new
cable pack.
NOTE:
Only use “Victor” approved cable from our agents or direct.
F) Check that the charger voltage (240V) is suitable for the supply available.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. CHECK POWER LEVEL OF BATTERY CHARGE.
Ensure battery is not being charged, if it is, disconnect it from mains supply.
Insert the key into the keyswitch and turn the machine fully on by rotating the keyswitch (Fig
2 circled) to the ON position. When the key switch is activated, the LED battery indicator
lights (Fig 3). At this point the battery power status will be indicated by one of the LED lights
illuminating. The colours on the LED indicator denote as follows:
RED: Immediate battery charge needed. DO NOT USE.
GREEN: Machine is ready for use.
CAUTION:
The machine will automatically cut-out when the RED light shows.
2. CHARGING THE BATTERY
NOTE: The machine leaves the production line fully charged. It is however recom-
mended that the battery is charged in line with the LED status indicator instruction
(below) prior to first usage.
If battery requires charging prior to use, charge battery with on board charger as follows:
A) Turn Key (Fig 2) to off position and remove.
B) Lift up flap (Fig 4) , pull cable from housing and plug charger into mains supply.
The LED charging status indicator (Fig 5 circled) will show RED (Charging) light when battery
is charging. The light will change to GREEN (Ready) when machine is fully charged. To
achieve the maximum run time it is not recommended that the machine is used prior to the
GREEN light being displayed.
NOTE:
The battery does not need to be fully discharged before re-charging. The machine
can be placed on charge at any time. The on-board charger will detect the charge state of
the battery and charge accordingly.
3. ATTACH/DETACH DRIVE PAD
A) Ensure key switch is removed.
B) Tilt the machine onto its back until it is resting on the floor exposing the drive
mechanism. (Fig 6).
C) If there is no pad attached or the pad needs replacing, unscrew the central pad
retainer in the direction denoted on the retainer (Fig 7)
D) To attach the new pad, push the pad retainer through the central hole in the pad and
into the threaded location in the drive mechanism. Tighten in the direction denoted until
pad is secure(Fig 6)
NOTE: ALWAYS ENSURE THERE IS A PAD ATTACHED TO THE DRIVE BEFORE
OPERATING THE MACHINE. (Also see burnisher safety section).
