Quick Guide

Programming

Note:  Each procedure begins from the Surveyor2000 Program Menu. Use the autoiris key to return to the Program Menu.

Programming Using the Menus

Minimum Required Connections

You must connect control, video and power to the dome in order to use a control device and monitor to view programming 
screens. Refer to the Surveyor2000 Installation & Operation Manual for specific information on required connections.

Surveyor2000 camera dome systems have a built-in receiver which may be programmed by the user with one of 

the Intelligent Remote Control Panel models. 

Disabling Autofocus

Deflect joystick right/left 

to select 

Manual.

Move cursor to 

Camera Controller.

Press the 

autopan key.

Press the 

autopan key.

The Surveyor2000 Program 

Menu will display.

Move cursor down to 

Focus Mode.

Accessing Programming Menus: 

 

These steps display the initial programming menu
on the selected monitor.

Note:  As described in the menus, use the control device's joystick or the autopan key to make a

menu selection. Use the autoiris button to exit the menu.

Select a monitor.

Select a camera.

Enter preset “94”.

Pan/Tilt Controller

Adjust max pan/tilt speeds and enable/disable the zoom scalable pan/tilt feature.

Camera Controller

Adjust autoiris, autofocus, shutter speed and V-phase.

Alarm Handling

Enable alarms and reports, define alarm status, acknowledgements, action on alarm and reset.

Relay Driver

Define relay states during active use and when power is applied.

Source Titling

Define alarm preset, camera and sector titles as well as title placement and layout.

Preset/Tour Handler

Program tours and presets.

Scheduler/Time of Day

Program time display format, daylight savings time and set time.

Menu Item

Language

Set default language to English, Spanish, French or German (depending on firmware revision).

Install Defaults

Overwrite user's settings with factory defaults.
