Partitioning Cameras to Monitors
By default, all cameras are assigned to all monitors. Video from camera stations may not be displayed on
monitors unless the camera stations are partitioned to those monitors.
The monitor number is identified in the Cameras For Monitor setting. All 512 cameras are enabled as default,
which partitions all of them to the specified monitor. Disabling the camera removes it from the partitioning
table for the selected monitor. After defining the partition for the selected monitor, use the Tab key to return to
the Cameras for Monitor setting and select another monitor. Use the Tab key to return to the partitioning table
and continue this process until each monitor’s partitioning table has been defined.

Set High-Speed Switching Output
The high-speed switching output is used to route video from a range of cameras to a specified monitor. With
the monitor output connected to a video loss detector and an X-IA input connected to the video loss detector’s
alarm output, the loss of video from any camera within the range will activate an alarm.
