Test Alarm Port 

Connections to and operation of the V1200X-IA alarm interface may be tested using the Alarm Port 
Diagnostics screen. These tests do not apply to the V1300X-IA alarm interface.

Test Input Port 

To check the X-IA alarm port’s ability to receive signals from the alarm interface devices, the Input Port Test 
activates all alarm indication LEDs on the V1200X-IA alarm interface device(s). Press Enter and observe the 
LEDs (they should illuminate for an active alarm). Check the alarm device(s) and connections to the V1466A 
if any discrepancies are found.

Test Output Port

enabled. Press Enter and observe the LEDs (they should illuminate for an active alarm). Check the alarm 
device(s) and connections to the V1466A if any discrepancies are found.
