INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Please follow the instructions below in order to use the appliance.
1.
Make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the power supply
2.
Slightly grease the plates (1) with a LITTLE butter or cooking oil.
3.
Connect the appliance to the power supply.
The red power & ready indicator light (4) will light and the sandwich maker
will start heating. As soon as the red indicator light (4) turns off the
appliance is ready for use.
4.
Put the sandwich in the appliance carefully.
5.
Lower the upper cooking plate slowly on to the bread using the upper
handle (2). Open the sandwich maker a few minutes later and check if the
toasts are sufficiently “brown”. The cooking time depends on the type of the
bread and your personal taste.
Note: During cooking, the red light cycles on and off indicating that the
appliance is maintaining the correct temperature.
6.
Use a non-metallic utensil to remove the toasts.
7.
After finishing, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
CLEANING
•
Clean the appliance each time after using it.
•
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before you clean it.
•
Clean the external surface of the appliance with a damp cloth.
•
Clean the plates also with a damp cloth.
Do not put the appliance in water, neither rinse it under tap water or any
other liquid.
Do not use sharp objects, hard brushes or oven cleaners to clean the device.
