Options (Cont’d)
1. Control by VibrationVIEW
NOTE: A laptop may detect the ObserVR1000
wireless signal but a wireless connection to
VibrationVIEW is not recommended
• An Ethernet connection from the ObserVR1000 to a Windows PC
or laptop running VibrationVIEW software
• Users can configure the ObserVR1000 inputs, control data
recording to a PC’s file system, view and analyze live data recording,
and post-process recorded data
• Use ObserVIEW in parallel to access the
VR Mobile
user interface
• The best option when there is a need to view multiple data channels
at a high data rate or to store recorded data on a PC hard drive
• Offers powerful capabilities for
» Transient Capture
» Live Spectrum Analysis (FFT and PSD)
» Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) analysis
» Random Import
» Fatigue Damage Spectrum (FDS) analysis
» Coherence and Cross Spectrum Analysis
After Recording
Regardless of the recording mode, data files can be transferred to a PC for
post-processing and analysis by:
ObserVIEW
is designed for analysis of recorded data. It can post-
process time waveforms, producing FFT, PSD and other graphs, then
edit the content of those graphs. ObserVIEW can also export data in a
variety of formats and generate customized reports.
VibrationVIEW
is designed to create vibration tests, then control
a shaker and capture data during those tests. It does support
comprehensive data analysis functions, some not currently performed
by ObserVIEW.
