OneExpert DSL User's Guide

The fiber optic features provided by the ONX-580

tester allow technicians to quickly turn up and

perform basic troubleshooting of the fiber local

loop. To access the fiber tests, select

OneCheck

Fiber

from the Main menu. The dropdown menu

appears.
If your OneExpert is configured and optioned to do

so, you can perform specific measurements for the following tests:

• Fiber Cert
• SmartOTDR

Each of these tests is described in the following sections.

About fiber testing

NOTE:
Fiber testing is available on the ONX-580 and ONX-580P, but

not the ONX-580A.
