Before Configuring the
PCMAHC
Determine parameters to be entered using the parameters listed in the
PCMAHC installation section of the ArcLight Hub Installation and
Maintenance Guide.
Turning On and
Configuring the PCMAHC Power on the equipment. Use the front panel to configure the PCMAHC
using the parameters from the PCMAHC installation section of the
ArcLight Hub Installation and Maintenance Guide.
Remote Control Optionally configure the unit for remote control.
Normal Operation Check all connections and assume normal operations.
Redundancy Operation Repeat steps above for the redundant unit(s). Each unit should have
identical parameters.
The PCMA SYSTEM and CANCELLER function parameters must be set
for each site location by performing the steps in Table 5-18. Use the
cursor keys to navigate to each of the display menus.

the SYSTEM Menu, and all
front panel LEDs should
momentarily go on and then
go off. LEDs remaining on
indicate the function is
active.
Set System
Parameters
Access and set the system parameter
functions. Initial system parameters
must be set using the front panel
display.

SYSTEM Menu is displayed. SYSTEM Menu displayed

Local/Remote Menu. If Local is NOT
selected, press ENTER. Use up/down
keys to show options. When Local is
displayed, press ENTER.

Enter IP Address* Press right arrow key to view Menu. To
change, press ENTER and use number
keys to enter IP address of VPCMA-70.
Press ENTER when done. Be sure to
enter leading 0s if needed.

The range for each ‘nnn’ set
is ‘000’ to ‘255’
