5.11.1.2 Telnet Server
The FLM provides a Telnet server application to access the Linux
operating system and various FLM software and configuration files.
Only ‘root’ access is allowed.
5.11.1.3 File Transfer Protocol Server (FTP)
The FLM provides an FTP server application to allow file transfer into
and out of the FLM for configuration. Only ‘root’ access is allowed.
5.11.1.4 SNMP Agent
Te FLM provides the SNMP agent used to obtain configuration and
status, as well as allowing the operator to change the configuration of
the FLM remotely if necessary. FLM supports system and interface
groups of MIB-II as well as proprietary FLM ViaSat, Inc. MIB that can
be obtained from ViaSat, Inc.
5.11.1.5 LEDs/Front Panel
The VFLM-70 provides separate, labeled LED indicators on the
enclosure front panel (shown in Figure 5-35) indicating:
• TX Enable (GREEN the FLM is enabled)
• TX Activity (blinking GREEN when locked)
• Fault (RED when the FLM has an internal fault)
• Test (YELLOW the FLM is in built-in-test mode)
• Power (GREEN when power is applied)
• Remote (GREEN when in remote mode)
In addition, an indication shall be provided when the transmitter is
enabled in a diagnostic mode either by an additional LED or by a color
change or blinking of the Transmit Enabled LED.

5.11.1.6 Rear Panel
Figure 5-36 shows the rear panel TX and RX input and output
connectors, alarm input connectors and power input connector for the
VFLM-70.
