Digital Apgar Timer

Description

The Viamed Apgar Timer is a battery powered digital timer with preset audible timing 

indications at 1, 5 and 10-minute intervals.

The timer has a large, clear LCD display and is operated using the keys on the front 

of the instrument.

The Function of the Keys

Display ‘freezes’ whilst the actual elapsed time 

continues counting, but is not displayed.

Standby Mode

The Apgar Timer does not have an ON/OFF switch. When not counting, the Apgar 

Timer enters

In 

Standby Mode

 the display is blank with the exception of a flashing colon (:) to 

indicate that the timer is functioning correctly.

If the display is completely blank with no flashing colon, the timer may require battery 

replacement. Replace batteries on an annual basis.
