Charge the Battery: If the VRCam X2’s battery is low on power the LED indicator will flash blue.
To charge the VRCam X2’s battery, insert the provided Micro USB to USB charging cable to a
5V/1A adapter and your VRCam X2. When charging, the LED indicator will turn red. When it is
fully charged, the red LED light will turn off.
In order to use the VRCam untethered a Micro SD card must be inserted into the device to
store your 360° image and video files.
*Note: The VRCam X2 supports Micro SD cards up to 128GB. Micro SD cards larger than 32GB
must be formatted with an NTFS file system format.
Insert Micro SD Card: When inserting a Micro SD card, use your fingernail to press the card into
the camera. If fully inserted, the card will snap into the slot. To remove the Micro SD card, use
your fingernail to gently press the card into the camera and it will pop up, allowing you to
remove it.
Taking Pictures: After inserting the Micro SD card and turning on your VRCam X2, you can take
pictures by pressing the power button on the back of the camera. The green LED indicator
light will flash once is successful.
Recording Video: To record videos, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds and the
green LED indicator light will flash. To stop recording, press and hold the power button for 2
seconds and the green LED indicator light will stop flashing.
2.2 Using Your VRCam X2 Untethered
*Note: iOS 9.0 and above is required.
*Note: The default recording duration is set to a maximum of 30 minutes.
Captured images and videos will be saved inside the “VPai” folder on the Micro SD Card. You
can also view these files on your iPhone within the VPai app by selecting the “SD” icon from
the VPai main interface. If you wish to share images and videos through the app, they must
first be downloaded to your device’s local storage by performing a long press on the desired
file and selecting “download” from the bottom right hand of the screen.
2.3 Using Your VRCam X2 with an iPhone
In order to use your VRCam X2 with an iPhone, installation of the official VPai app is required.
