• Do n ot open th e CD compartment while t he CD is ro tating.

• Always keep the  CD compart ment closed when not  in use.

• Keep all  foreig n obje cts out of  the CD compartment.

• If TV or radio  int erf erence occurs durin g operation, move  the unit to a

dif ferent loca tion within the room or building.

• Pla ce the unit on  a stable surf ace.  A vibration or shock to  t he unit can

cause the CD mechan ism t o mist rack or skip. If operat ing the  unit
under circumst ances which may subject the unit to these conditions,
utilize the digital Anti-shock,  See page 11.

• Playing some CD’s a t high volume can ca use vibration leading to

mistracking. In this case, lo wer the volume  or relocat e the spea kers
further away f rom  the unit.

• Avoid inst alling the un it  in t he lo cations described  below :

• Where it will be in direct  cont act  with a  magn et.
