Checking the brake oil level (03_11)
Both front and rear brake fluid tanks are equipped with a warning light « A » of trans-
parent material; the quantity of fluid contained indicates the fluid level in the relative
tank.
To control the brake fluid level, proceed as follows:
- Place the bike on the centre stand with the handlebar pointing straight;
- check the liquid level through the relative inspection sight glass « A »:
•
if the window is full , the brake liquid is correct.
•
If the brake level approaches the « MIN » reference,contact an Authorized
Service Center to perform the top up.
•
If the brake liquid level is below the « MIN » reference, do not use the vehicle
and contact an Authorized Service Center .
WARNING
IN NORMAL CLIMATIC CONDITIONS IT IS ADVISABLE TO REPLACE THE
ABOVE-MENTIONED FLUID EVERY 2 YEARS. NEVER USE BRAKE FLUID CON-
TAINED IN CONTAINERS WHICH ARE ALREADY OPEN OR PARTIALLY USED.
WARNING
ONLY USE DOT 4-CLASSIFIED BRAKE FLUID. BRAKE CIRCUIT FLUID IS HIGH-
LY CORROSIVE: DO NOT LET IT COME INTO CONTACT WITH PAINTED PARTS.
