Quick Installation Guide
6. Connecting a second power
module
Remove the fitted blanking plate to
reveal the power module bay and
slide the power module into the
designated bay until the locking
clip clicks, holding the module in
place. Insert an IEC jumper cord
into the socket on the module and
turn on power.
NOTE
: Only use Vertiv™ power
modules with the RMPSU. The
RMPSU identifies non-authorized
power modules as invalid.
7. Connecting to a network
Use a shielded patch cable to
link the Ethernet 10/100 network
port on the front panel of the
main chassis switch to a network
switch. The default IP address is
192.168.1.22
and the default log in
username and password are
admin
and
password
, respectively.
NOTE
: Both cross-over and
straight connections are sup-
ported.
