NOTE: The cable of the J2 BCB port must be routed separately from the power cable. It uses the dual-
insulated shielded cable (the CSA is generally 0.5mm2 ~ 1mm2 when the max. wiring distance is 30m),
and the UPS side of the shielding coat must be connected to the enclosure reliably.
CAUTION: If the corresponding functions are not required, just do not connect corresponding
ternimals.
9.6 Battery Cabinet
The BCB cabinet contains batteries, BCB and a BCB control board.
Vertiv provides the BCB cabinet for battery backup use. Refer to Figure 9-3 , Table 9-8 for description of
the BCB cabinet and its data.
The BCB cabinet protects the battery against overdischarge and overcurrent, and also isolates the UPS
and battery, thus reducing the risk at lowest for service personnel during the maintenance. The cabinet
inside has connection bars for connecting the cables from the UPS.
NOTE: The signal cables from the UPS to the BCB control board must be routed in a separate cable
trough and separated from battery power cables.
