4.2 Using Forklift to Install the Unpackaged Unit
The forklift must be rated for at least 5,500 lb (2495 kg) and the fork length can be no less than 8 ft
(2.4 m). See
Typical Center Line of Fork Pockets on the next page, for the location of fork pockets. The
unit can be lifted from either side.
Place protective material between the fork mast and unit to prevent external damage to the unit.
