Local power-on/shutdown
The Wave Server chassis can be powered on and off locally using the Power rocker switch
located on the back of the chassis (refer to Figure 3-2).
Local system shutdown
The Shutdown button is the red button located on the front of the ISC1/ISC2, as shown in Figure
3-1 and Figure 18-1.

Shutdown and Reset buttons
When the Shutdown button is pressed and held for at least 4 seconds, the system automatically
performs the following tasks:
•
Terminates all telephony and data connections
•
Shuts down the Wave system, allowing data to be saved first
•
Turns off power to the power supply in the chassis
Caution:
You must shut the system down properly to avoid losing data.
