Function : Selects the Alert functions when receiving the
Weather Alert Signal on the WX channel.
Available Values : BP/LED/B+L/oFF
Default Setting
: oFF
BP: Sounds a loud beep when receiving the Weather
Alert Signal.
LED: Flashes the back light of the Display/Keypad when
receiving the Weather Alert Signal.
B+L: Sounds a loud beep and flashes the back light of
the Display/Keypad when receiving the Weather
Alert Signal.
oFF: Disables the Alert function.
To stop the loud beep and/or back light flashing, press
any key (except [
]/[ ] key)
When the Weather Alert function is activated, the “ ”
icon will appear on the display.

Function : Enables/disables VOX operation.

: Selects the VOX delay (“hang”) time.
