ONNECTOR
Connect the CBR-4004B paddleboard to the EBX-18 board’s J10 I/O connector for access to the
following signals:
Two hubbed USB ports (USB3 and USB4)
Eight 8254 timer/counter signals
16 channels of digital I/O
Figure 23 shows the user-accessible signals when the CBR-4004B is cabled to the EBX-18
board’s J10 connector. The CBR-4004B is a multipurpose board; the silkscreened signal labels
do not apply to this configuration.
Integrator’s Note:
The EBX-18 board’s J10 connector provides signals for two USB ports. If these ports are
accessed directly from the J10 connector, they will be compatible with USB 2.0 devices. If the
ports are accessed through a CBR-4004B paddleboard, performance will be limited to USB 1.1
level.
