You can use the FC ports in slots 2 and 4 for VMware, Optimized Deduplication
over FC, or tape library connectivity. Both ports on each card are configured in
Initiator mode.
■
You can use the FC ports in slots 5 and 6 for Fibre Transport media server
(FTMS) support.
■
Understand that port 1 on the FC HBA cards in slots 5 and 6 is configured in
Target mode. The other port on these cards is configured in Initiator mode.
