Hold the upper thread with the left
hand. Turn the handwheel towards
you (counterclockwise) lowering it,
then raise the needle.
(1) Mark on handwheel
Gently pull on the upper thread to
bring the bobbin thread up through
the needle plate hole.
Lay both threads to the back under
the presser foot.

Attention!
Turn the power switch to off („O“) when carrying out any of the
above operations!
Change the needle regularly, especially when it shows signs of wear or causes prob-
lems.
Insert the needle following the illustrated instructions.
Turn the handwheel towards you (counterclockwise) lowering, then raising the needle.
Turn the needle clamp screw counterclockwise to remove the needle. The flat side of
the shaft should be positioned towards the back.
Insert the needle as far up as it goes. Next, tighten the needle clamp.
Needles must be in perfect condition.

Please note:
If it is difficult to raise the bobbin thread, make sure the thread is not trapped by the hinged cover or the sewing table.
Raise the presser foot. Push the
presser foot to disengage it from the
cut-out.

Install the pin of the presser foot into
the cut-out of the presser foot holder.

Raise the presser foot bar. Align the
presser foot holder with the lower
left side of the presser bar. Hold the
presser foot holder, then tighten the
screw using the screwdriver.

Turn the power switch to off („O“) when carrying out any of the below operations!
