After unpacking the appliance, set
it on a level surface.

Fill the base

23 liters (6 gallons) of water.

Add 125 ml of Venta Hygiene
Additive (see dosage scale on
bottle). Bottles of Venta Hygiene
Additive are found in the left side-
piece.
Starting up

Apply slight pressure on the upper
part of the appliance

up as high as they
will go. Now the entire top half of
the appliance can be lifted off the
base

Remove the protective packaging
from inside the top of the
appliance. Take out the disk stacks
and remove the packaging in the
bottom.

Replace the top

, holding it
slightly on the slant and starting
on the left. Push the right and left
sidepieces down only when the top
is back in place. Make sure that:
- the sidepieces fit flush with the
tank;
- the power supply cable runs
outwards;
