OUT DOOR FIRE SOUNDER
SELF-SUPPLIED SOUNDER TRIADE F24
Features
:
Triade F24 sounder has been studied for acoustic and optical indication of fires.
All materials used to manufacture it comply to fire system requirements and the housing is built in fireproof materials.
The sounder has to be installed by qualified personnel only, respecting all installation norms and adequate distances and height so
as to get the best optical and acoustic performances.
Installation:
Fix the sounder to the wall through the 4 holes on its base (see Pic. 1).
Use an adapter to connect all cables in case of a system with external pipes
.

Connection:
Connection: with
4 wires
Connect the control panel output to “polarity inversion” in the sounder to terminal RL (+) (stand-by negative) and to
terminal RL (-) (positive in stand-by) and 24Vcc supplying for battery recharge to terminals –COM and +24V.
Furthermore, insert the end-of-the-line resistor R between terminal RL (-) and terminal R (pict.2). The value of the R
end-of-the-line resistor depends on the type of control panel installed and it is mentioned in the control panel manual.
STATO A RIPOSO
In case of alarm of the control panel, it will invert the inverting output, activating the sounder whilst, if the cable is cut, the
control panel will recognize the status change of the inverting line and will give an alarm but without triggering off the sounder
alarm.
Signalings:
The sounder Triade F24 is managed by a microprocessor capable to check the battery and the speaker. In case of anomaly it
sends out a negative open collector indication to terminal OUT TEST whilst the check-led on board indicates the type of failure
according the number of flashes followed by a short pause.
The microprocessor automatically performs the test of battery current each 32 days, and if not passed, it sends 3
negative
pulses
and the anomaly
led
makes 3 flashes followed by a short pause. Moreover, the microprocessor makes a self-test too at any
moment and in case of failure or malfunctioning it sends out a
negative output
with block of the sound.
